Episode 314 - It Starts With You – The Power of Self-Leadership

We often chase financial freedom, business growth, and influence, but the truth is, none of it lasts without self-leadership.

In this week’s Wealth Academy Podcast episode, Paul explores how mastering your mindset and habits creates the foundation for every form of wealth.

  • Self-awareness fuels confidence
  • Daily decisions shape destiny
  • Discipline compounds success

Lead yourself first—and watch everything else fall into alignment.

Self-Awareness Fuels Confidence

Self-awareness is the cornerstone of all personal growth and leadership mastery. It’s the moment you recognize that every result in your life is a reflection of your inner world, your beliefs, emotions, and habits. When you become aware of your thoughts and how they influence your behavior, you gain the power to change your outcomes.

Daily Decisions Shape Destiny

Destiny isn’t something that happens to you, it’s something you create, one decision at a time. Every choice you make, from how you spend your time to how you respond to challenges, shapes the trajectory of your future. The small, consistent decisions, choosing to learn instead of complaining, to save instead of spending, to lead instead of following, build momentum that defines your destiny.

Discipline Compounds Success

Motivation may spark the beginning of change, but discipline sustains it. Discipline is the quiet commitment to do what needs to be done—especially when you don’t feel like it. It’s the structure that transforms vision into reality. Every time you follow through on your commitments, you strengthen the muscle of self-trust, and that consistency compounds into extraordinary success over time.

Apply these principles to your life and watch the awesome results you receive. Keep moving forward no matter what.

00:01.528 --> 00:04.051
[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to Wealth the Academy podcast.

00:04.531 --> 00:10.357
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for tuning in to listen to this dynamic and insightful podcast with host Paul Lawrence Van.

00:10.858 --> 00:15.863
[SPEAKER_00]: Paul and his guests provide content rich information that will enhance your knowledge.

00:16.384 --> 00:17.405
[SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy this episode.

00:27.092 --> 00:33.395
[SPEAKER_01]: and good day everyone on your host, Paul Lawrence Van and I hope that you're doing great today.

00:34.075 --> 00:41.778
[SPEAKER_01]: Just as I am, and today what I wanna share with you is that wealth of Academy of Podcast is moving in a new direction.

00:42.393 --> 00:43.814
[SPEAKER_01]: And what do I mean by this?

00:43.935 --> 00:52.523
[SPEAKER_01]: What I mean by this is that hopefully the last several years I've had a platform for solo as well as interviewing guests.

00:53.023 --> 00:57.328
[SPEAKER_01]: And now I'm going to shift it just a little bit to make it a little bit more specific.

00:58.428 --> 00:59.329
[SPEAKER_01]: going forward.

00:59.689 --> 01:02.830
[SPEAKER_01]: And today marks that day where this all starts.

01:02.890 --> 01:11.274
[SPEAKER_01]: So episode 314 really consists of it's all about you and what you want to achieve.

01:11.634 --> 01:15.936
[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, it starts with you and it's the power of self-leadership.

01:16.536 --> 01:21.058
[SPEAKER_01]: And I really have leaned in and poured into self-leadership

01:26.320 --> 01:31.821
[SPEAKER_01]: And everyone is a leader because if you have a life, you'll need that whether you know it or not.

01:32.141 --> 01:36.622
[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's what I want to talk to you about today as I get started.

01:37.122 --> 01:45.384
[SPEAKER_01]: And on this particular playlist, I have for the starting this fourth quarter, I'm going to start with some mindset.

01:45.804 --> 01:48.084
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what today is all about.

01:48.165 --> 01:49.905
[SPEAKER_01]: It's all about some mindset.

01:50.865 --> 01:52.986
[SPEAKER_01]: And so thank you for joining me.

01:53.207 --> 02:06.314
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, I'm going to be talking about how self-awareness fuse confidence, daily decisions that are shaped daily and disciplined, disciplined compounds success.

02:06.955 --> 02:09.736
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm going to start with this.

02:10.577 --> 02:15.540
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things I want to start out with by saying this, I have a financial background.

02:16.191 --> 02:21.297
[SPEAKER_01]: and leadership as well have been served over 22 years in the Air Force.

02:21.337 --> 02:27.965
[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, today is my anniversary while I celebrate my 23rd year of retirement from the United States Air Force.

02:28.005 --> 02:29.247
[SPEAKER_01]: So yay, for me.

02:31.256 --> 02:44.520
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so we often chase financial freedom, business growth and influence, especially as solo printers, but the truth is none of us, none of it, the last without self-leadership.

02:45.140 --> 02:52.982
[SPEAKER_01]: And so this episode, which is a wealth academy podcast episode 314, I explore how mastery you are mindset.

02:53.502 --> 02:57.603
[SPEAKER_01]: and habits creates the foundation for every form of wealth.

02:58.023 --> 03:04.785
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, every form of wealth is not only monetary, but it's also our mind, body, spirit, and our soul.

03:05.205 --> 03:11.947
[SPEAKER_01]: It's about relationships, communicating, having empathy, and also listening to people.

03:11.967 --> 03:15.548
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a very, very important communication skill as well.

03:16.168 --> 03:21.070
[SPEAKER_01]: And so what I want to talk about is self-awareness and how it fuels confidence.

03:21.790 --> 03:33.897
[SPEAKER_01]: discipline, how it compounds, success, and then the daily decisions that shape identity, and this is how it's all going to start today.

03:34.197 --> 03:39.419
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, self-awareness is the cornerstone of all personal growth and leadership mastery.

03:40.260 --> 03:48.024
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the moment you recognize that every result in your life is reflection of your inner world, your beliefs, emotions, and habits.

03:48.504 --> 03:49.785
[SPEAKER_01]: And what do I mean by that?

03:50.280 --> 04:09.072
[SPEAKER_01]: What I mean by that is the fact that we all have a physical body and our physical body represents the house we live in for the duration of our lives from the time that we have born and into the earthly realm until the time we pass on a transition into the spiritual realm.

04:09.592 --> 04:15.796
[SPEAKER_01]: And so we want to be able to take care of that in our mind, body, and spirit because

04:19.736 --> 04:22.738
[SPEAKER_01]: things work out better for each and every one of us.

04:22.938 --> 04:24.739
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's very important to know this.

04:25.620 --> 04:32.405
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, when you become aware of your thoughts and how they influence your behavior, you gain the power to change your outcomes.

04:32.965 --> 04:41.370
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, that clarity breeds confidence because you're no longer reacting to circumstances you're leading yourself through them.

04:41.871 --> 04:43.232
[SPEAKER_01]: And the most effective leaders

04:43.992 --> 04:51.677
[SPEAKER_01]: and financially successful individuals of those who continually ask, what's really driving me right now?

04:52.497 --> 04:56.580
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I had this particular question a long, long time ago.

04:57.040 --> 04:59.321
[SPEAKER_01]: I've had a lot of rotations around the sun.

04:59.781 --> 05:05.665
[SPEAKER_01]: And in fact, I've had so many rotations around the sun that the sun and I know each other are on a personal basis.

05:06.305 --> 05:08.487
[SPEAKER_01]: And what I mean by this is that when I was young,

05:09.531 --> 05:14.135
[SPEAKER_01]: I started working at the age of 10, but it was not a pay position.

05:14.575 --> 05:21.761
[SPEAKER_01]: It was my father volunteering me to open up the store each day at the school and I did this for five years.

05:22.381 --> 05:32.089
[SPEAKER_01]: And I couldn't find my way through because I'd no longer had any after school activities, no sports, I couldn't hang out with my friends.

05:32.729 --> 05:34.831
[SPEAKER_01]: And it was just hard work.

05:35.251 --> 05:37.573
[SPEAKER_01]: I just thought my life was coming to an end.

05:38.599 --> 05:48.865
[SPEAKER_01]: and what happened is that I find a realized that you know what, I'm really learning business here and I was learning business because when I opened up the storage day, I would.

05:49.525 --> 05:53.348
[SPEAKER_01]: Each and every day I would probably open it up and there's a different vendor there.

05:53.388 --> 05:57.632
[SPEAKER_01]: Someone who delivers the bread, who delivers the milk, the ice cream, you name it.

05:58.493 --> 06:00.234
[SPEAKER_01]: And people would send it credit.

06:00.274 --> 06:05.799
[SPEAKER_01]: My father had me to extend credit to people in the community, local community, to purchase groceries.

06:05.839 --> 06:13.986
[SPEAKER_01]: And that way they didn't have to go to the big box grocery stores but they could get it locally just walking down the street or we would actually deliver a food to them.

06:14.767 --> 06:16.529
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I found myself

06:17.209 --> 06:21.890
[SPEAKER_01]: thinking that, well, I'm not sure where this is going to lead me, but I did it.

06:22.250 --> 06:31.133
[SPEAKER_01]: I did it for five years, and so when I looked at my outcome, started out my vision for myself, it didn't look good.

06:31.693 --> 06:39.435
[SPEAKER_01]: But over time, and I finally stopped working in the store and started playing football at the local high school in Henderson, North Carolina,

06:40.487 --> 06:43.890
[SPEAKER_01]: I realized that I needed to understand that teamwork aspect.

06:44.490 --> 06:55.119
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, a plan on a team and having a co-haven different coaches, not only for football, but for track, really changed my outlook on life because I found that we all need each other.

06:55.660 --> 07:02.185
[SPEAKER_01]: And what I mean by we need each other, we need to help each other, to grow, to develop, and to be that person that we want to be.

07:02.706 --> 07:07.130
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, it helped me to understand and provide it me with that self-awareness that

07:09.549 --> 07:24.122
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, self-awareness creates emotional intelligence one of my favorite topics, and then it strengthens decision-making it helps us to show up as our authentic sales, grounded and powerful sales.

07:24.222 --> 07:31.609
[SPEAKER_01]: And what this means is that the better decisions that we make in our lives, the better the results are gonna be.

07:32.450 --> 07:36.593
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's one of the things I really, really wanted to pass on to you.

07:37.334 --> 07:59.811
[SPEAKER_01]: For example, as I stated, I was commissioned a second to attend an Air Force in the day I graduated from college at Sharia University, and what it meant was, once I came on active duty in the United States Air Force, all of those experiences that I had as a 10-year-old who'd been a 15-year-old, they came into play.

08:00.455 --> 08:08.578
[SPEAKER_01]: how to get along with other people, how to work with people, how to understand myself better and make the best decisions that I could.

08:09.158 --> 08:11.639
[SPEAKER_01]: And joining the Air Force, I really learned a lot.

08:11.679 --> 08:13.840
[SPEAKER_01]: And then after eight years, I got out of the Air Force.

08:14.240 --> 08:22.002
[SPEAKER_01]: And I went to work for mobile or company in Beaumont, Texas, and with our district office in Houston, Texas.

08:22.442 --> 08:26.964
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I really learned a lot in that time frame and then fast forward two years later,

08:30.585 --> 08:33.707
[SPEAKER_01]: And I served at the Pentagon for 12 consecutive years.

08:33.787 --> 08:40.312
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of those years was a year in Capitol Hill as a Capitol Hill fellow working for a member of Congress in the U.S.

08:40.332 --> 08:41.373
[SPEAKER_01]: House of Representatives.

08:41.733 --> 08:54.902
[SPEAKER_01]: So when I packaged all of this up, everything still goes back to my youth, back as a 10 year old, not really having a vision that I eventually understood and it came through

09:00.637 --> 09:11.482
[SPEAKER_01]: everyone who's living in today's society and in this world, our self-awareness is our greatest tool that we can lean into in our greatest resource.

09:12.002 --> 09:16.404
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's go to daily decisions and how they shape destiny.

09:16.844 --> 09:25.948
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, the quality of our decisions could very well be based on the questions that we ask others as we learn from them and we work with them.

09:26.582 --> 09:35.129
[SPEAKER_01]: from our colleagues, for the people that work for us, the people that we work for, decisions really count and they matter.

09:35.910 --> 09:45.838
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, destiny of course isn't something that happens to you is something you create one decision at a time and every choice you make from how you spend your time

09:46.341 --> 09:51.084
[SPEAKER_01]: how you respond to challenges, shapes that trajectory of your future.

09:51.645 --> 10:03.533
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the small consistent decisions chooses to learn instead of complain to save instead of spin and to lead instead of follow, build momentum that defines your destiny.

10:03.953 --> 10:12.900
[SPEAKER_01]: Now I want to go back what I said earlier, is that when we look at the fact that money isn't the only form of wealth,

10:14.172 --> 10:22.017
[SPEAKER_01]: It also means that we need to earn money and when we earn more money, it gives us the opportunity to help more people.

10:22.317 --> 10:24.959
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's really what mine is all about right now.

10:25.279 --> 10:27.881
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about helping people who don't want to work.

10:28.381 --> 10:34.985
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm people who are always asking for something, but in essence, if you were to ask them for something, they don't show up for you.

10:35.125 --> 10:38.467
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about people who legitimately need help.

10:39.088 --> 10:40.189
[SPEAKER_01]: A little financial help.

10:43.258 --> 10:57.905
[SPEAKER_01]: to ask questions to come to obtain some of your knowledge and your wisdom, and so when it comes down to making those daily decisions, a person who decides that they want to do something illegal when they know it's illegal.

10:58.926 --> 11:08.250
[SPEAKER_01]: The only thing I can say is first of all, before they made the decision, they knew it was wrong, and they knew the consequences that go with it.

11:08.948 --> 11:14.893
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they want someone to bail them out, which I don't believe that someone should be bailed out.

11:15.494 --> 11:18.116
[SPEAKER_01]: If you already know, you've made a bad decision.

11:19.017 --> 11:22.040
[SPEAKER_01]: So what I'm saying is we have to live for God.

11:22.837 --> 11:25.458
[SPEAKER_01]: and we have to live for ourselves and for our families.

11:25.938 --> 11:34.842
[SPEAKER_01]: And so those daily decisions that we make truly, truly shape our destiny, trying to do the right thing most of the time.

11:35.702 --> 11:43.265
[SPEAKER_01]: And wealth and leadership are not the result of one monumental moment, but the accumulation of intentional actions.

11:43.665 --> 11:47.467
[SPEAKER_01]: So over time, you work to do better,

11:48.226 --> 11:56.891
[SPEAKER_01]: And the better you do, the better the results you're going to have and it's all based on the decisions that you make and trust me.

11:57.291 --> 12:01.413
[SPEAKER_01]: When I left the Air Force at the eight years as a captain and going to mobile all company.

12:02.153 --> 12:06.956
[SPEAKER_01]: I primarily went for selfish reasons, but I'm still glad I did it.

12:07.236 --> 12:10.258
[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason why is when I went to them, I was a financial analyst.

12:10.818 --> 12:14.720
[SPEAKER_01]: And I always wanted to know what it was like to work for it's Fortune 500 company, thus.

12:17.222 --> 12:18.784
[SPEAKER_01]: ended up working for Mobile Oil.

12:19.244 --> 12:30.634
[SPEAKER_01]: I also had mentioned that Tara was in the close for running for me to be on their staff as an accountant for them and Greenville South Carolina, but I chose the oil and gas over the tires.

12:31.235 --> 12:41.684
[SPEAKER_01]: And so as you can see, I had to make an decision, but leaving an effort, it just really, it hurt inside, but I knew by trying and going to a corporate

12:42.697 --> 12:48.402
[SPEAKER_01]: Fortune 500 company that is something I needed to get out of my system and I did at the two years.

12:49.103 --> 12:51.184
[SPEAKER_01]: And everything worked out just great.

12:51.525 --> 12:56.989
[SPEAKER_01]: I was able to come back to the Air Force and to retire years later at the 22 years of service.

12:58.030 --> 13:04.795
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things when we look at it is when you make decisions along with your values, your visions and your goals.

13:05.176 --> 13:06.717
[SPEAKER_01]: You move closer to the life.

13:07.273 --> 13:26.660
[SPEAKER_01]: you have met to live, because deep down on the inside of us, we all have these drive to do the very best that we can, whether we're an employee or whether we're an employer, make me need a better entrepreneur, leading a business, or leading someone else's a business at a very high level.

13:27.000 --> 13:29.941
[SPEAKER_01]: So our daily decisions really make a big difference.

13:30.381 --> 13:35.243
[SPEAKER_01]: So each day gives us, and you and I, a chance to either reinforce,

13:36.083 --> 13:38.764
[SPEAKER_01]: our past or reimagine our future.

13:39.124 --> 13:44.707
[SPEAKER_01]: So choose wisely because your destiny is written in your daily decisions.

13:45.207 --> 13:50.449
[SPEAKER_01]: So make a great decisions and everything will work out just fine.

13:50.989 --> 13:57.752
[SPEAKER_01]: Now one of the decisions I made also was applying to become a capital hill fellow meaning I would work in a

14:01.093 --> 14:12.635
[SPEAKER_01]: And the program I went through with the government affairs institute at Georgetown University, and I was actually going through academic program with them as I was serving on Capitol Hill.

14:13.096 --> 14:15.656
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I was still in the military, but I didn't wear a uniform.

14:15.716 --> 14:16.796
[SPEAKER_01]: I wore suit every day.

14:17.216 --> 14:25.138
[SPEAKER_01]: And I had no issues for the congressmen that until all branches of the military end of Veterans Administration and much, much more.

14:25.558 --> 14:29.299
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it was a decision that came through a vision.

14:30.317 --> 14:33.139
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was trying to really stay in great conditioning.

14:33.199 --> 14:37.082
[SPEAKER_01]: So as I was signed at the Pentagon, I would run up to Capitol Hill and back.

14:37.142 --> 14:39.643
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's eight miles around trip.

14:39.763 --> 14:42.826
[SPEAKER_01]: One day I was at the halfway mark at Capitol Hill.

14:42.886 --> 14:44.387
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was at the steps of the Hill.

14:44.907 --> 14:49.050
[SPEAKER_01]: And something inside of me is a voice stated, you've got to work here one day.

14:49.570 --> 14:52.052
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh my god, it must be too hot out here.

14:52.072 --> 14:53.353
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm imagining things.

14:53.793 --> 14:58.196
[SPEAKER_01]: And then a couple of weeks later, a piece of paper showed up through our internal.

14:58.636 --> 15:04.037
[SPEAKER_01]: into office mail at the Pentagon, and I said, apply to become a capital hill fellow.

15:04.997 --> 15:10.158
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I applied in the first year, I didn't get it, because my supervisor, he didn't want me to go.

15:10.578 --> 15:15.579
[SPEAKER_01]: He wanted me to stay there because of the work that I was putting out was really great, and he liked that.

15:16.000 --> 15:19.120
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the next year I applied, and I was accepted.

15:19.560 --> 15:27.142
[SPEAKER_01]: And I went through the program, but it was that decision that I made based on a voice inside of my head

15:28.736 --> 15:30.111
[SPEAKER_01]: One day you're going to be

15:30.920 --> 15:41.907
[SPEAKER_01]: working here and sure enough I did and I successfully completed that that fellowship program a couple years before I eventually retired.

15:42.227 --> 15:52.754
[SPEAKER_01]: So so far what I've covered is how self-awareness fuels confidence and I also talked about daily decisions and how they shape our destiny.

15:53.234 --> 15:54.755
[SPEAKER_01]: Now the last item that I'm

16:00.679 --> 16:04.702
[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot about discipline, my father was very disciplined on me.

16:05.182 --> 16:17.970
[SPEAKER_01]: Now imagine this, I'm in a one of 10 children, five boys and five girls born to parents, and my father never served in the military or he was a factory worker just as my mom were.

16:18.130 --> 16:20.692
[SPEAKER_01]: They were part of the working poor as I was growing up.

16:21.533 --> 16:26.936
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things as the oldest son, everything fell on me,

16:28.719 --> 16:33.641
[SPEAKER_01]: I had to take care of it, and I'd think in many ways that help the develop my discipline.

16:33.661 --> 16:40.083
[SPEAKER_01]: So by the time I did enter the Air Force, I was overqualified for discipline.

16:40.603 --> 16:42.364
[SPEAKER_01]: But let's talk about it a little bit more.

16:42.684 --> 16:48.106
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, motivation may spark the beginning of change, but discipline sustains it.

16:48.926 --> 16:54.288
[SPEAKER_01]: And discipline is the quiet commitment to do what needs to be done, especially when you don't

16:55.302 --> 16:57.884
[SPEAKER_01]: feel like it, like I did several times.

16:57.924 --> 17:01.527
[SPEAKER_01]: Like we all did, sometimes you just not fill in it at that day.

17:02.228 --> 17:08.594
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is structure that transforms, this is structure that transforms vision and reality.

17:09.034 --> 17:18.122
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, every time you follow through on your commitments, you strengthen the muscle of self-trust and that consistency compounds into extraordinary success over time.

17:19.255 --> 17:35.259
[SPEAKER_01]: And what this means is that the more experiences you have, and let's say you may fail at some of the things that you attempt to do, you're failing forward, meaning failure is not final, but it's a teachable moment, if you will.

17:36.319 --> 17:45.081
[SPEAKER_01]: And the more you try something, the better you get at it, and then you stop making all of the mistakes, and then you start putting your imprint on it.

17:49.288 --> 18:07.513
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, just as compound interest multiplies your money, discipline multiplies your results, whether it's staying consistent with your budget, keep in promises to yourself or sticking to your growth habits, discipline ensures progress even in the absence of excitement.

18:08.314 --> 18:16.056
[SPEAKER_01]: And so what this means is, as an example, a very unique experience, I worked at the Pentagon for 12 years,

18:17.428 --> 18:26.315
[SPEAKER_01]: And we, I was actually brought back in along with 3,000 other people back to active due to the Air Force because of their chill, so there was a war taking place.

18:27.456 --> 18:28.657
[SPEAKER_01]: And then, ultimately,

18:29.352 --> 18:32.354
[SPEAKER_01]: desert shield turned into desert storm.

18:33.215 --> 18:36.738
[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's a very unique, a wartime experience.

18:37.378 --> 18:45.224
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it takes discipline to do that because your life no longer becomes your home, but the organization that you work for.

18:45.744 --> 18:48.246
[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes you won't work 24 hours a day, you may work 48 hours.

18:48.266 --> 18:48.687
[SPEAKER_01]: Never go at home.

18:52.588 --> 19:01.218
[SPEAKER_01]: And being fortunate, the work at the Pentagon, they do have cafeterias open and places you can get food, I could go down to the gym, the Pentagon gym.

19:02.288 --> 19:07.089
[SPEAKER_01]: And I could work out in the morning shower there and go directly back to the office.

19:07.529 --> 19:11.710
[SPEAKER_01]: Are there was a time that I want one of my leadership?

19:12.330 --> 19:30.153
[SPEAKER_01]: And we went to the Dutch embassy, and we negotiated on behalf of the United States and foreign military sales, and we would have training for other countries to help them to become better for their military and their country.

19:30.952 --> 19:41.055
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's discipline has to come through that because you're dealing with ambassadors, you're dealing with high ministers, you're dealing with presidents of different countries.

19:41.635 --> 19:43.796
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's very unique experiences.

19:44.436 --> 19:47.217
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, discipline wins the day.

19:48.600 --> 19:54.622
[SPEAKER_01]: So the people who achieve lasting success aren't the most talented, they're the most disciplined.

19:55.063 --> 20:01.165
[SPEAKER_01]: They understand that daily discipline applied with purpose, creates unstoppable momentum.

20:01.898 --> 20:23.347
[SPEAKER_01]: And so there you have it, this mindset area for this playlist, the very first of 12 episodes that I would be covering involves and let's you know that it all starts with you because you have the power of leadership and today I covered how self awareness views confidence.

20:24.285 --> 20:29.226
[SPEAKER_01]: daily decisions, shape destiny, and discipline, compound success.

20:29.887 --> 20:42.330
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a kickoff for this playlist that I'm covering over the next 12, next 11 episodes, if you will.
